These are the full versions of Vimalin.
Vimalin for Fusion will work with VMware Fusion 7 up to VMware Fusion 26H1u1(*) (OS X 10.9 – macOS 26.x Tahoe). Both Intel as well as Arm. Arm support is currently via Rosetta 2, but native Arm support is expected to arrive in the next version.
Vimalin for Windows will work with VMware Workstation Pro 12.x up to VMware Workstation 26H1(*). Starting with Vimalin 2.5.481 we now also support VMware Workstation Player 16.x and higher (supported host OS is MS Windows –> all).
(*) Encrypted Virtual Machines are currently not supported, this is on our list.
If you install Vimalin then it will automatically install a 60 days trial license on your behalf. With that trial license all features are available for 60 days.
After those 60 days you can still use the program to make on-demand backups of any of your VM’s and restore or delete any of the backups that you made previously.

These are the full versions of Vimalin and install a 90 day trial license.
Vimalin for Fusion 3.0 beta will work with VMware Fusion 13.6 up to VMware Fusion 26H1u1 (macOS Sequoia 15.8.x to macOS 27.x Golden Gate. Both Intel as well as Arm. This release includes native Apple Silicon support.
Vimalin for Windows 3.0 beta will work with VMware Workstation Pro 17.6 up to VMware Workstation 26H1u1. (supported host OS is MS Windows –> all).
This beta also adds support for computers set up with a Microsoft Account.
Encrypted Virtual Machines are completely supported in Vimalin 3.0, even when the VM is running.
