Add a comment

It is also possible to store a comment with your virtual machine backup.

This is particularly handy if you have a special reason for making a backup. The comment is stored as metadata with the backup. The reason for that is that even if you import the backup later on using another computer, the virtual machine backup comment will still be there.

You add the comment from the Backup Archive.

Right click on the VM that you want to add a comment for.

Select “Add Notes”

You can type the notes in most native languages as the comment editor does understand unicode.

Type your notes and press “Done” when finished.
